bugs is a brand created for content creators, streamers, and communities to
grow and maintain their audience.
We create competition and rivalry among communities, having your members compete for
bragging rights and a piece of the Ethereum prize.
For each game bugs supports there is an event hosted 1x a month. These events are
pay to play and give the competitors an opportunity to earn their Ethereum back and some more.
Leading up to the main events bugs will host smaller free-to-play events for anyone with a bugs profile to participate in.
These events will not be as competitive but the top performers from these events will earn a free entry into one of the main events (The Entry Fee is paid by bugs).
bugs is a brand which operates using the Ethereum blockchain. All that is
needed to compete in bugs Events is a Discord account and Ethereum wallet address.
The blockchain is used for payment to create a bugs Profile and to compete
in bugs Events.
Since the blockchain is a decentralized distributed ledger, bugs has the
ability to authenticate and verify payments made to our Ethereum wallets. It
is by verifying payments that bugs is able to create its competitor list for
Events.
Lastly, upon creation of a bugs Profile your Ethereum wallet address is
saved by bugs and is used to send out Ethereum rewards in the instance you are selected as a winner.
The Stoke bot is used to handle all information processing needed in order
to run bugs. In order to be able to compete in bugs events you must be a
member of a Discord server which has invited the Stoke bot to their
server.
Using Stoke, community members of a server can create a bugs profile for a
fee of 0.003 ETH, they also have the ability to represent the community of
their choosing via their player profile.
Player profiles consists of the competitors gamertag and server/community
they wish to represent and compete under in a bugs event. There is a player
profile for each game bugs supports.
Currently bugs supports 2 games Apex Legends and The Finals. So, players have
the option to compete for 1 community in Apex and another community in
The Finals.
The community you represent in the events is based on which Discord server
you create your player profile in. In order to change this all you need to
do is re-create your player profile in the Discord server you want to
compete under.
